POEM: New alone.

New alone.

I miss having a hand to hold
A bed once warm,
now cold.
Someone to bless me when I sneeze
I wear solitude with ease.

A smile to make my day
An embrace, fades away
You held me intact, about to break
I thrive on pain, for no one's sake.

Guilt is tailored to me,
Remorse, a comfort blanket.
Lightheaded, with a heavy heart
We had a ship
I sank it.
